NFL teams will start calling female players this year after the league agreed to change its policy.
The NFLPA announced Friday that it would be ending the practice in 2020, with the league announcing the policy change in a news release.
The league will also remove the “inappropriate behavior” language from the 2018 rulebook, a league spokesman said.
The league said it will continue to make the rule “fair and reasonable.”
