Escorts service providers are seeking a new market, as more women want to travel abroad.
A new survey of more than 1,000 hoteliers has found that Dubai’s largest, Hariri Towers, has become the most popular resort.
The Dubai Resorts Institute, a business school based in Dubai that advises on hotels, said the Hariri tower has seen a 60 percent increase in new bookings since the start of the year.
“The growth is significant, especially given the fact that the hotel has been expanding,” said the institute’s chief economist, Mohammed Al-Bazadi.
“In other cities, such as Singapore, the trend is quite the opposite,” he said.
He said the hotel is also expanding its concierge service, which includes the ability to provide free massage or a personal massage.
The resort said its new concierges are working to get more women to the hotel.
The institute said it expects the number of female bookings to reach about 5,000 to 6,000 per year by 2022.
The Hariri Tower is not the only hotel that has seen growth in its female customers, according to the institute.
There are several other hotels that are now offering escorts service, including the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Dubai and the Harirendis in Dubai.
The Marina Bay is also the home of the country’s only licensed escort agency, the Golden Mile.
The Golden Mile is not owned by the Dubai Government.
The survey, conducted by the institute, also showed that more women were staying in the hotels and resorts that had an escort service than in those without.
The report said the majority of women, 71 percent, chose hotels that offered an escort in 2022, a record high.
But more than half, or 50 percent, of the hotels did not offer escorts, and only 10 percent offered an option that offered both an escort and massage.
The study also found that the number and quality of escorts in the hotel industry remained low, with fewer than 10 percent offering services.
That’s a huge number for the industry, which typically only offers a few women escorts.
The number of escorting services offered in Dubai was just 9 percent in 2022.
